Benevolence

James 2:16 says, “Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?”. Those with temporary necessary needs can apply in person during regular church hours with a valid ID for consideration to receive temporary assistance for utilities, rent, gas, groceries, etc upon approval from the elders. All assistance is paid directly to the utility, landlord or given in the form of a gas or grocery card. Building Relationships is a part of our Benevolence fund.
