Local Missions

In addition to funds already dedicated locally through our individual ministries like: Navigators, men’s, women’s, etc. we also dedicate a fixed portion of each offering to several local missions:

Helping Hands Food Pantry – Located in Toronto the Helping Hands Food Pantry distributes food weekly to those in need in our immediate area.

Benevolence/Building Relationships – The Benevolence Fund provides temporary assistance to church members & the Toronto area community for utilities & other necessary expenses. Building Relationships is designed to help church members & the Toronto area community with simple handyman type projects & accessibility projects for handicap individuals.

Toys for Toronto – is a yearly community supported event where local businesses and organizations donate to provide a Christmas for Toronto area families who qualify. Well over 100 local families come without their children to “shop” the “store” set up in the church basement and receive several presents with all the wrapping paper & such to make for a full Christmas blessing under the tree for their children.

Tuition Assistance – Tuition Assistance is available to church staff, members & immediate family who are entering higher education for a career in ministry. Forms are available in the church office.

Missions Other – is a fund that receives a fixed percent of each offering to held for any missions emergency or other spending as the elders see a need arise.
