Pastor Mark was saved and baptized in 1980 and was the Founding Pastor of Crossroads North River in July 2020. He has been married to Shari since 1988 and they have 2 children, 3 grandchildren. Mark holds a Master of Arts in Theology from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and his favorite Bible verse Romans 12:1-2
Ed oversees building maintenance and security for the church as well as regularly volunteering for the Navigators after school enrichment program. He is a member of the Security team as well as a facilitator for the Men’s Breakfast and Prayer Group. Ed was saved in 1975, and he and his wife Lisa have been married since 1974 with 3 children and 6 grandkids. His favorite verse is 1John 3:16
Bob Co-leads the Journey Class Adult Bible Study and oversees the Greeting Ministry. He has attended Crossroads North River since November of 2020 and is married to Traci. Together they have 5 children and 10 grandchildren. He has no greater joy than to hear that his children walk in the truth. 3 John 4.
Joe came to Christ in 1972 and has been married to Carol since1967. Together they have 4 daughters and 6 grandchildren. Joe is an Air Force veteran and oversees building and maintenance for the church. I came to Christ in 1972. He is the former Pastor of Bend Fork Church in Alledonia, Ohio and enjoys serving others and telling them about Jesus.
John was baptized and professed his faith in January 2001. He married Amy Rice, in July 1998, who is the Secretary at the church. They have 3 grown children and two grandchildren. He has been involved at North River as a Deacon, in Men’s Ministry and on the Security Team. His favorite verse is Philippians 4:13
TJ is married to Amanda, and they have 2 children. He volunteers in the Youth Group and is a member of the Tech Team.
Nikoli leads the weekly young adult Bible study as well as teaching the Bible lesson for the Men’s Bible study group. He is a Journeyman with the local Electrical Workers Union and his favorite Bible verse is Colossians 3:17
Bill volunteers in the Navigators program and on the Welcome Team. He was baptized in July of 2023 and married Penny on 10-24-2015. He has 3 daughters and 1 granddaughter and graduated in 1982 from Stanton High School and in 1986 from The Ohio State University. He is the Fire Chief for Toronto Fire Department and a Retired Master Sergeant, USAFR. His favorite bible verse is John 15:13
Pastor Tony was the founding Pastor of Sonrise Church in San Diego, California and currently co-teaches The Journey Class every Sunday at 9am. Tony was saved on July 3 of 1972 and has been married to Sherry since 1966. Together they have 2 children, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. His favorite Bible Verse is 2 Peter 3:18 and he holds an Honorary Doctorate from Hindustan Bible Institute in Chennai, India.
Amy has been the Church Secretary since 2008. She has been the Toys 4 Toronto chair/co-chair since 2018, and the Director of Helping Hands Food Pantry since 2023. Amy also volunteers regularly for the Navigators after school program. She has been married to John Rice since 1998 with 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Amy was baptized in July 2022 and holds an associate’s degree in business management. Her favorite Bible verse is 1 Corinthians 13:13.
Tiffany was baptized in January of 2008 and started her faith journey then but gave her life to Jesus as a teenager. She has 4 children and 4 grandchildren and holds an MBA and BA in Leadership Organization. Her favorite Bible Verse is Jeremiah 33:3.
Amber was saved at the age of 12 at Hollow Rock Campground and grew up attending Steubenville First Church of the Nazarene. Amber started attending Crossroads in Wintersville in 2009, and it was there that she felt the call to help lead worship. God sent Amber to Crossroads North River in 2020 where she met her faithful and loving husband Doug whom she married in 2022. Amber has 3 amazing adult children, Riley Maze, Aiden, and McEndree, and an angel in heaven, Zeke. Her favorite Bible verse is 1 John 4:4.
Bill attended the Gospel Hall with his grandparents throughout the 1980s and was saved May 31, 1993. He began attending Crossroads North River in 2017. He has been married to Heather since 2000 and has 4 children and 3 grandchildren.
Coleen is retired from Toronto City Schools as treasurer and volunteers in the nursery at the church. She spends her free time with her family and her favorite verse is “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13.
